Orwell Offshore’s policy is to provide Naval Architecture services exemplifying best practice, both meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations. We define practice objectives to enable us to achieve the aims of this policy and review them regularly to ensure their relevance, including a full annual review. We have established and maintain a Quality Management System which exceeds the requirements of ISO 9001 accreditation (ISO 45001 is the H&S standard). The Directors are committed to complying with its requirements and continually seek to improve its effectiveness.
We review this policy as an ongoing commitment, to ensure its continued suitability.
Orwell Offshore is dedicated to maintaining the environment in which it works and to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees and contractors through the active implementation of comprehensive policies. Orwell Offshore undertakes to give priority to health, safety and protection of the environment when carrying out its activities and to insist on the same policy from its contractors. We have established and maintain a Health and Safety Management System which exceeds the requirements of ISO 45001 accreditation. The Directors are committed to complying with its requirements and continually seek to improve its effectiveness.
The company defines safe operating procedures that are designed to meet, or preferably exceed, all appropriate legal requirements and, where no standards are at present defined, to meet or better generally accepted industry-wide “best operating practices”. The company actively participates with all client/contractor bodies and other authorities in developing standards and promoting the image of the industry.

The British Standards Institution is incorporated by Royal Charter and the rules relating to Subscribing Members are contained in its Bye-laws. This Certificate remains the property of the Institution and is only valid for the period ending on the End date specified above.
