One of the first projects carried out by Orwell Offshore was to provide technical input to Australian FPSO Management on the possible life extension of the FPSO Four Vanguard Mooring and Riser System. Personnel from Orwell Offshore had previously been involved with the project for the design, installation and operation of its disconnectable mooring system and this first hand knowledge was utilised to help direct AFM personnel to areas requiring further investigation and re-assessement.
