The Galoc Field is located west of Palawan Island in the Philippines in around 300m of water. The field is owned by Galoc Production Company and is produced by the FPSO Rubicon Intrepid. The field has two wells, which are connected via short jumpers to a Single Anchor Leg Mooring (SALM) system. Fluids are produced through a single riser, which emerges at the surface via two interface points in the mooring tether.

Orwell Offshore provided Master Mariner support for the installation of the mooring and riser system. This involved the co-ordination of construction vessels during the connection and laydown of the mooring and riser system on the seabed.

Orwell Offshore also provided assistance during the initial pick-up and connection of the mooring system by the FPSO.
